संता की सुहागरात पर उसके पिता ने उसे एक बंदूक दी और कहा - “अगर वह कुंआरी हो तो हवा में गोली चलाना, नहीं तो उसे ही शूट कर देना.”
पहली रात को संता ने हवा में गोली चलाई.
